“RareJob Eikaiwa” starts English lessons offered by Japanese tutors
RareJob, Inc. (hereafter, “RareJob”),which utilizes data related to human resource to develop global talents, has started offering lessons by Japanese tutors on its “RareJob English Eikaiwa,” online English tutoring service.
Background for the introduction of English lessons by Japanese tutors
The RareJob Group is engaging in providing lessons focusing on learning outcomes and improving the quality of lessons. Since its establishment in 2007, “RareJob Eikaiwa” has provided lessons by friendly and hospitable Filipino tutors with high English proficiency as the second language.
On the other hand, the number of beginners has been increasing recently and the need to tailor services and support for beginners has also been seen more frequently than before. Therefore, we decided to start offering lessons by Japanese tutors to give beginners a sense of security when they take lessons. It will help them keep taking lessons more easily.

Characteristics of Japanese tutors’ lessons
・ At the beginning of the lesson, students can consult tutors about lesson materials and the frequency of using Japanese during the lesson.
・Students can take an English lesson more easily as Japanese tutors can help them in Japanese when they cannot follow a lesson.
We conduct thorough training for Japanese tutors before they start to provide lessons to enable tutors to support how students choose materials and help their English learning in a lesson. We update training contents regularly based on the voices of students to provide lessons that lower the bar mentally for beginners and of course maintain the quality of lessons. We continue increasing the number of Japanese tutors for a stable supply of lessons.
