*2 Official Comment from the Steering Committee when PROGOS was shortlisted:
“One of the key challenges facing the global education system is providing high-quality, rigorous assessment at scale, in ways that are also accessible to as many learners as possible. This challenge is particularly relevant in the English-language assessment space, where growing demand to study English-language courses requires innovative solutions for assessing the linguistic competencies of increasing numbers of applicants. Our Steering Committee, therefore, commend RareJob on the way in which their work has risen to this challenge, providing an effective, innovative, scalable solution to this problem. Our independent judges commended them both on the speed of assessment – with only five minutes required to receive results – and the well-executed incorporation of machine learning functionalities in ways that improve both the quality of assessment and the capacity of the assessment platform. We recognize their solution as an outstanding contribution to the global assessment market, and are proud to shortlist them this year.”
